Limited to 250 fine art limited edition prints + 25 artist proofs, 'Boxing Day' is available either block mounted, or block mounted and framed. Please make sure you select the format you require using the drop down list above.
The main edition of 250 prints is printed on 400gsm fine art canvas. This is then bonded to 3.5mm board and varnished to replicate the look and feel of the original painting. This is called block mounting. Each print is individually signed and numbered by Anthony and supplied with a certificate of authenticity.
The framed print has a 6.8cm wide distressed pewter frame which is slipped with a painted off-white moulding. The off-white section in between the the frame and the image is the slip. This is in effect a second narrower frame fixed into the main frame to give an additional line of definition to the print.
ARTIST'S PROOF
Limited to just 25 prints, the Artist's Proof is a stunning large scale stretched canvas print.
Printed on 450gsm fine art canvas, each print is individually signed 'AP' and numbered by Anthony and supplied with a certificate of authenticity. The print is finished with a dark grey edge, fitted to a 3.4cm deep tulip wood stretcher and strung and ready to hang.
The Artist's Proof is also available in a 11cm wide distressed pewter frame which is slipped with a painted off-white moulding. The off-white section in between the frame and the image is the slip. This is in effect a second narrower frame fixed into the main frame to give an additional line of definition to the print.
WHAT IS AN ARTIST'S PROOF?
Traditionally an artist's proof was a print made by the artist during the print-making process in order to understand the progress of the printing plate the artist was working on. In this respect it was a 'work in progress' print.
With the development of modern printing techniques the term is now used to refer to a number of finished prints that are available in addition to the main limited edition, and are reproduced to the same exact high quality. The number of artist proofs should not exceed 10% of the size of the main limited edition. The edition size of 'Boxing Day' is 250 prints so there are just 25 artist proofs available.

Biography
Biography
Born in 1971 Anthony’s interest in art meant evenings were spent drawing and painting rather than doing homework - a rebellion which paid off when his first painting sold in 1989.
Anthony turned down a place at university to study Graphic Design, in order to work on the commissions which followed.
As well as painting commissions, Anthony has worked on the business side of the art world as a framer, printer and publisher - working commercially with artists and building up portfolios for clients cannot have failed to add to his keen eye for colour, line and form.
He has recently created a stunning and characterful collection of wildlife themed limited edition prints on canvas. Working primarily in oils, Anthony’s signature ‘detailed, yet not overworked’ style is used to great effect in this latest captivating collection.
